Today is monday and that means i have 3 more days to study for my biostat. Force myself to study so hard and memorize all the facts, characteristics, examples, calculations and so on so forth related to it. Nevertheless, I think I have not give my best just because my study spirits sank and the lack of self-assurance.

In the afternoon, I went to Setapak to have lunch with my friends. I went there myself and I am supposed to call my friend for guidance upon reaching KTAR. Somehow, there is miscommunication between us two. And trust me its all about the word 'junction'.

The concept or the understanding of it are very much different in both our dictionary. In my perspective, junction could be 'T' or 't'. But in his language, small road or branch road or the road from the shoplot connected to the main road are all considered as junction. You will not understand by what is written in here, but to experience it yourself. Thats why we have a funny arguement when we met after that.

Went to Papa Rich Kopitiam to makan and the environment look good to me. I couldnt order much or eat as much as i used to, maybe due to the exam on friday. Well, the photos of us 4 are in Suk Yen's camera. Think she'll upload it and i am too lazy to 'steal' the pictures.

Went to yam cha with my secondary school friends last saturday.

Its called happy season restaurant on the theme of 4 seasons, winter, spring, autumn and summer.

Its located in Wangsa Maju, the place where Bang Ming always lepak with the college friends i supposed. Haha

He recommended us the cafe and we went there for the first time to check out since it sounded interesting from what he had described to me.

After a tour up and down the restaurant, we finally chose the winter season, since Bang Ming was so excited and admired the cool air.

Yet, there was one thing that I did not feel comfortable with, the poor lighting and the light colour as well. That was why the photos taken were not good.

Both of them ordered Ginger with Longan Tea. Still acceptable drink.

I ordered ice blended cappucino and that crazy fella next to me ordered ice blended mocha. Luckily mine tastier than his. *blek

This fella became vampire all of a sudden and we managed to snap this picture. I have no idea what stimulated him.

Boring day

Just didn't know what happened to me today. Or is it my something is disturbing me?? I cant study well the whole day, cant really concentrate what I've studied. Ended up not even a chapter I can finished. Thought that i can enjoy for at least 2 weeks until the result, that was supposed to be released today. Somehow, it was released a week earlier and guess what??

By right I should be happy that i passed all 4 subjects and failed only biostat. I expected my result to be the worst this time. That I might fail 3 papers altogether. Anyway, stop thinking about it and now all I have to do is to study harder for the paper that will be in another 2 weeks time.

It was a boring day when i cant study at all and plus i had stomachache whole day too. I started to worry for this supp paper. Maybe because i obtained 47 and still, 3 marks away from the passing line, and i doubt my ability to sit for the supp this time. Anyway, just hoping i can cope with it. *praying harder

Not ended yet, a bad news from my friend just now. Well, I have to keep it as a secret and just wait for the time to come. Hope i'll be forgiven.

Only two days since i came bek frm bangkok, the feeling of bored started to appear, can be seen frm the expression of my face. Not really have enough rest ever since after the exam. reason? i have phc training bek in uni frm mond til thurs, then busy shifting in my things into the condo. and that saturday, a family trip to bangkok, 4D3Ns long.

At first, I was expecting something fun, something more challenging in this trip to bangkok. Just like the one to phuket which was just amazing. However, things turned upside down when my uncle wanna do some shopping there, for the whole day. OMG!! i was stunt for a moment when i first heard it. I mean, shopping is a good idea, which almost all the girls would enjoy it. But, it must be appropriate according to the places and go along with the timing. This was the first time I landed on Bangkok city and of course there must be some interesting places to visit, not just shopping for the whole day long am i right?

I just didnt wanna follow my uncle to shop blindly. My mood wasnt there at all. After all, it would be a waste of time for me in this trip to go there gaining nothing. Then i immediately suggested to my mum that my brothers and I better visit safari while they go for shopping. It was definitely a gud idea i would say and my uncle agreed with that, which marked my happy face again.

Though 4D3N there seems long, actually we did not have much time to spend. We visited only 3 places the most. What i can recall were floating market, Safari World and a temple. However, the happiest moment to me was there in Safari World. There were animal shows and they were of course different from the ones in Malaysia. The show includes orang utan, sea lion, cowboy stunt, spy war and dolphin show. I myself love sea lion show the most.

First time to Bangkok, and first time this thing happened. I was sharing a room with my aunt. Hmm... She has this strange feeling in the room on the first night. Maybe i am not that sensitive enough towards it. Because everytime when i stayed in any hotel, i never thought of it before, to prevent myself from being scared. But, this first night wasnt good at all. I couldnt get a good sleep, some very disturbing sound kept me awake a few times. some noisy snoring sound that was what i heard. I cant express myself here to stop myself from thinking about it. I know i have a strong imagination, part of the reason that made my stay there scary. The following day, we changed to another room and everything was okay after that.

Its all over... I mean the exam is over. This is the final exam for Year 1 sem 2. Shouldnt that be a gud news to everyone who actually sit for the exam?? I am suppose to be happy, thinking that i can have my sweet time in front of the screen here msn-ing, posting blogs, fun trips and things that we can enjoy after exam.

Too sad to say, i am so so depress. Thinking that the exam is over cant console myself. perhaps not just to myself, but everyone in my class. hearing that 3 quaters of the cls fail in one of the subjects, how would you feel? wat else for other subject then?? its just the same.

The worst of all is, biostat assignment. Isnt tat suppose to be the easiest subject for tis sem?
Yes!! definitely it is. tats wat the seniors are saying too. Somehow, ting goes wrong somewhere. it seems to be the tougest subject of all. it makes everyone angry, depress, stress and... i m speechless!! just dunno wat else to say bout tis. it is too much

Its been more than a month since i last updated my blog, without realizing this. I did not even check my account due to the hectic schedule and have been sitting for quizzes these few weeks. Today was my last quiz before my finals in another two weeks time. I wonder if i can manage all the subjects in just two weeks?? God bless.....

Last Sat was Bang Ming's birthday. Hey friend, here to wish you again Happy 21st Birthday.... Ok, its happy belated 21st birthday...hehe. We went to Look Out Point, my 2nd time there. Its a romantic place and suitable for couples or even families.
Btw, you know what, despite my quizzes were just over, I need to get a nice and adequate hours of sleep in my comfortable bed. Since you and Soon Teck are so excited to get the pictures fast, have been asking me a number of times, then i sacrifice little of my supposed-to-be-bedtime to upload the photos just for you two.... Things are not gonna stop there with all the heavy workloads from the normal lecture days until the weekend. Don't think can even hang out just because its called weekends. No happy hour or movies time. I used to sit in front of the screen watching moving programmes in which that is called TELEVISION!! But what happen now is that i don't have time to watch any show or any programme broadcasted. If you ask me any of the current tv programmes or even a list of movies released, just forget about it. I am completely out of that world already. At least not until our sem break.

Anyway, I couldn't complain much as I know the pathway i am going through is quite a tough one. After all, that are not the points that i wanna put it here. All I wanna talk is about my BIOSTAT CLASS!!! I can tell that i am completely lost in the subject. Not that i didnt pay much attention in the class. But the lecturer is way too advance for us. He is from the School of Medicine, who is of course with a PhD level. But that isnt a problem either. The problem that I am having, and i should mention my class as well, having a big problem not understanding the lecture. He seems like talking to himself in the class, and though he did explain each of the slide, that doesnt means we understand the whole thing. Worst thing you know what? He can explain each slide for about 10 minutes or even up to 15minutes. Poor thing, majority do not understand and they eventually study for other subject, some even doze off in class.

Okay. Let me make things clearer. Today is already in the month of Mac. We have gone through a few lectures for this subject, yet all we get is only the 1st two lecture notes. Helo, come on la, since we already do not understand his lectures and up to now we still have not gotten the notes yet!!?? What are we going to study then? And trust me, the slides he shows us are a jumble of syllabus. They are too messy to be understood. This is not a joke. There isnt a book for us to refer also. I mean we dont have a specific or recommended book to study. We are not clear about the syllabus at all.

Another thing is, there is a research assignment that is to be done in a group. He has been mentioning about it for the past few weeks and none of us actually start doing this. The reason is because he told us that he would print out the guidelines for us to do the assignment. And today, he tells the class that he doesnt have the guidelines and expect us to submit the draft for chapter 1 to 3 in a weeks time. Excuse me, What is that in chapter 1-3? We dont even know all that about that!!!?

alright, i dont wanna go further for this. My mind is just too tire. Previous case still not settle and now another case arises. Okay, gonna concentrate on my study for the upcoming quiz.

tired and exhausted

Its been a very very tiring week with the hectic schedule,with the quiz around the corner and the assignments before the deadlines. Its not only the feeling of tiredness and exhaustion, but things did not go on smoothly since a week. Though i spent only 3 nights at my grandma's house, i missed my home so badly. I missed my family and my bed.... T.T The usually me have my family to talk to when I'm at home, and I always chit chatted and jokes around with my brothers and my mum. I also shared my problems with them. One will definitely ask me why not I talk to my grandma when I'm there at her house? Well, there is nothing I can talk to her since I am not so close to my grandma. I stayed there only a few days a week since i started my uni life. I feel stranger there, even though my grandparents are part of my family members. No doubt, i guess this is what we called generation gap?

The only person I can complain to is my friend Yvonne. We shared problems together. And she is the only friend i shared my problem with. unfortunately, this time we were having the same situation, the same problem and the same heart. What heart was that am I talking here?? Broken heart. Why on Earth is there such a guy who would hurt the gals so badly.....!! He was so mean!! With those words he used. So pathetic. And this is the first time a guy reacted in such a way. Cant believe it with our own eyes. the guy who used to be so sporting isnt sporting at all is what I can tell. Trust is no longer exist between us, there is no meaning in this relationship anymore. I cant see the way it will lead us to and dont even know what will happen next. I am already too tire with all the academics and I have no time to care with the thing like this.

Yvonne, I know you were sad yesterday. And I can tell you that I am very sad and depressed now. It was supposed to be fun but ended up so wrong. I think we have different perspective of thinking. He is such a weird guy. That was the reason our idea was so wrong. Well, try not to torture ourselves with this anymore. I have no more energy to talk about this already. Trying so hard not to think about this.

Well, 5 hrs of lecture tomoro will definitely kill us all. Preparing for tomoro....

Especially the couples would do so because of the romantic environment there. There are 2 cafes. One of them is Gasoline, one of the favourites where the youths would definitely enjoy. Its already two weeks i dint go online and update new stuff in this blog. Spending my weekdays in my grandma's house which has no internet connection for me to online while weekends will be the time for everyone of us to rush reports and assignments, not to mention the studies yet. Quiz is on the way coming this week and we are not prepared for it yet. Getting more and more tire everyday.

Today went to Puchong to try out some laksa there, just opposite IOI mall. However, how disappointed we were when we were told there were no laksa during weekends. Not even nasi lemak. What they have were only some side orders...... Haiz. Isnt it sound so wrong when the main dishes in a restaurant are not served during weekends? Then what's the reason to open a shop during that period? No choice we eventually went to other place to have curry laksa as what we have planned earlier. Yummy..... cant stop eating.... hehe

Yvonne, you say wanna go on diet from now on? well, i'll listen to that first ya... Hope you can do it and encourage me too..... haha LOL....

Its been a week since i last online. I have no time to online right after the new sem starts, even though its only the first week. This week will be worsen. The lab practicals is coming on the way and there are reports for us to do, not to mention the assignments yet. However, so lucky there is this chinese new year to help us temporarily. There will be 9 days off for us to enjoy before our real battle begins for 3 months long. Let us have fun in the upcoming chinese new year and try to collect as many ang paus as possible!!!!! haaaaahaaaa

Alright. There's this story i havent tell yet. Yesterday as what my classmates and i have planned, we went to Klang for Bak Kut Teh at noon after our class. The journey took us about 1 hour to reach there from UCSI. Then the 10 of us enjoyed our lunch together. Its so fun to have such a group travelling somewhere to makan together. hahahahaha.

Then our next destination was Pandamaran, which was very near to our makan place. The purpose of going there was to support our friends who went to the Pandamaran church organizing this public health campaign. What an unlucky day for us all yesterday!!
We got lost on our way to the church. What we did was based on a map only. And the map seems so wrong to us. We reached Klang town and without realizing we have been touring the town for many times. We tried to ask people there for the direction but sadly, we got different information each time.

Then we tried to call our friends who are familliar with the Klang area. And we really made phone calls many times. To cut the story short, we reached the church finally. That was at 5pm, after 3 hours sitting in the car asking for the right direction.

What a horrible day for us in which we got lost in Klang town and we only made our way there after 3 hours instead of 15 minutes. ARGHHHH...... ended up hypertension there i think.

Better sleep now. Tomorrow class at 8.30, msian studies. Haiz. another boring subject.

New Sem begins

Its the last day of holiday for the 1st sem break. The whole month holiday seems to be so fast and it isnt enough time for us to rest. No choice but another struggle is on the way coming to us as a pharmacy student. Sleepless night, rushing reports every weekend, preparing for practical sessions and whole day of lectures. These are the things we gone through in our first sem and trust me its very tiring. Everyone would say it will be tougher and tougher in the following years.

I am starting to worry. Msian studies just started this week, and its like hell i can tell. The english is 'terrible'. Why on Earth would they use such language to torture us? Its all about history by the way. Cant they just write them straight to the point with simple language? The stories and the points are so messy, not to mention the english is so 'flowerish'. Its not just me saying all this. Even my classmates tell me the same thing. Cant those writers think wisely for God's sake?

Anyway, i hope i can handle my studies well not just for this sem but for every sem that will come. This sem begins to have sat class, which means there will be 6 days of lecture everyweek. I dont know if this changes is a good thing to us or is it a bad thing to us? Just wait and see.

last day of fun at phuket

On the 3rd day, we went to 5 islands. Generally there are many islands in Phuket and i am a little confuse by the names. I knew one of the island we went was Phi Phi island.

At night we went to a restaurant at beachside to have a luxury meal. All the dishes we ordered were seafood and they were so great!!

2nd day at Phuket

Its already 2nd of Jan. Everything seems to be so fast. Each day by each day and then gone my first sem break and now its the commencement of 2nd sem. Feel so lazy nowadays that i hardly hanging out with my friends, got phobia to walk on the street or even drive as there are bad people everywhere and not knowing what will happen next. Living in KL is getting more chronic, dangers are everywhere. I have to be alert to the surrounding all the times. And all this thanks to the two stupid robbers! I curse you two!! better die...!! Making me so sick nowadays.

Well, I better not to think too much about that anymore. Its a good lesson for me to be more precautious. Back to the happy thing, i have not upload the photos taken on the 2nd and 3rd day at Phuket. Its all about fun there, as long as you have money. haha

On the 2nd day, we were brought to an island where we can have fun playing games, scuba diving, snorkelling and banana boat just to name a few. However there werent much time for us to go for all. Instead my brothers and i chose parasailing, speedboat and diving. This was the first time for us to go diving, what a good experience to see the underwater world. There were many unique creatures.

Then in the afternoon we went for ATV. Its a four-wheel vehicle that functions like a motorcycle. Its quite challenging if you drive fast enough. Its not about riding on a tar road, but somewhere there're obstacles.

At night we went for dinner at Garden Cliff where the environment is pretty good, just nice for a couple to have a candlelight dinner. haaa... and then we went to the Central shopping complex and lastly Bang-La road.

This was a trip to Phuket with my family and my aunties. It was a little different from the Shanghai trip that my family and i went to a few years ago. This trip was so fantastic for me that i enjoyed alot there. The beaches were so amazing! These were what i've been expecting. hhhaaa....

I spent 4D3N there at Baumanburi Hotel which is located at Raj-U-Thid Road. Its a 4 stars hotel and the environment isnt bad, especially the swimming pool. The first day upon arrival, there wasnt much time for us to have any activity because it was already in the evening. So we just get ourselves ready for dinner. Then 5 of us, the youngsters and my aunt went to one of the Phuket main attractions which is the Fantasea show. My mum and my other aunt who had been to Phuket and experienced the show before didnt join us this time as the tickets for the show were pricey. And unfortunately, there wasnt any oppurtunity for us to take pictures during the show as we were not allowed to bring any camera or handphones into the theatre for fear that the flashes from the cameras could spoilt the effect of the show. However, we could still take pictures outside the theatre. Generally, all i can say about the show was amazing. It must be costing them a large amount of money to make it successful, even just for a pair of costume could cost them thousands dollar. Well,that was all for the first day. By the time we went back to hotel was already eleven pm, and malaysian time will be 12pm.

Genting on 26-12-08

That night, my mother, my uncles, my 1st brother and i, the five of us went to Gohtong Jaya for dinner. Its so normal for my uncle to travel everywhere, hours of journey to a place just for a nice meal, especially seafood which definitely is his favourite. Luckily i did not follow him all the time, or else i cant expect how much i'll gain after that. haha.....Everytime I can see him gaining some weight.

Well, just after our dinner we went up to Genting. I bet you know the reason for elderly people like my mum travel to Genting right. Casino of course, what else could it be? haha. Then, What can the young people do? My brother and I went for a walk at indoor since it was already late at night. and I can say the Xmas decoration there was pretty amazing too....

Have been so busy these few days since christmas eve till now that i have no time to online or even to write a blog. Went out have fun almost everyday. Time do fly past just like that especially when you are enjoying yourself. Though i did not really enjoy the christmas last year (which is 2008 and now is already 2009), but i enjoyed a lot when i went to phuket.

On Christmas eve, we went out to 1U and to the curve. As what we have planned, we went there for lunch and movie. In addition, we went there to see the Xmas decoration and everyone had been mentioning about the fantastic decoration in The Curve, especially CMC. There were man-made snow too.

Of course when there were colourful decorations or even nice views or a good background for a picture, eventually everyone will be posing in front of the camera for some good pictures of it as memories. However, maybe the guys were too shy or they were not willing to take pictures with me which i really dont know why. Those pictures i have taken only showing the Xmas decoration on the stage and no picture of us posing.Haiz, A little sad for me that night. Needless for me to talk so much here. Well, just let it be. Its already past and just look forward for a better one.

aquaria in klcc

i feel so tire today after going out almost the whole day. I better make it fast and make a short blog today so that i can go to bed early. hehe. another outing awaits me tomorrow. yeah i am coming....
alright, today the 4 of us, just like usual, cmc, jenny, soon teck and i go to klcc to visit the aquaria. well, if you plan to go aquaria, make sure you bring your student card together, because student will get discount and the price is only RM20 compared to the normal price for malaysian citizen which is RM28. it is 8 ringgit cheaper!!

Actually i am the one who is so excited and fancy to go to the aquaria. Because the last time i go to the aquaria in singapore has already been a few years and i am sort of wonder how our malaysia's aquaria will be. At least go there once to open our eyes.

Along the journey into the aquaria, i keep capturing picture of the animals there, also at the same time keep pressing the buttons on my camera trying to adjust and focus on what i wanna shot. Sadly, it is difficult for me to get a good picture of these animals as these amazing creatures keep moving around in the aquariums. In addition, the regulations say not to flash on the animals when you take a shot to prevent from frightening them.

Starfish. Only the 3 tanks near the entrance are allowed to touch the animals.

Common name :Electric eel. capable of producing powerful electric shock

Painted terrapin, endangered species.

Estuarine crocodile, in malay is buaya katak.

Bumblebee dart frog, is one of the most toxic animals on earth though the size is a little small, 5cm.

Reticulated python. ular sawa batik.

Mexican redknee tarantula. Body length is about 10cm long. Special charactheristic is that the female and male will battle before mating. Then the female quite often devour the male after mating... sound horrible.

Land Hermit crab.

Argentine Horned frog. Can deliver a painful bite as they have lots of sharp teeth along thier bottom jaw.

Known as High yellow leopard gecko. Feed on fruitflies, mealworm, superworms, silkworms, phoenix worm.
Arapaima, the largest freshwater fish in the world.

Reef venom, nama tempatan ikan ayam. Is one of the most venomous fish in the world, feed on fish and crustaceans.

Stingrays.... incredibly huge.

Well, what i wanna write here now? feel lazy to post a blog today. feel a little bit moody these two days because of my mum. well, not going to tell the story here. just forget about it and concentrate here.
alright. since i am so lazy to write a blog, so just let me 'steal' some pictures from cmc's blog. hehe, because i didnt bring camera out today, so i have no pictures with me. let me try to become a 'thief' today. hahahahaha.......

what is this called, cmc? oh ya, ham heong crab. The taste is not bad, just that everyone has problem dealing with the shells. its too hard to break open it.

ipoh road yong tow foo 18-12-08

Breakfast at ipoh road yong tow foo at metro prima. Just cmc and me this time.
The white yong tow foo is quite nice and the most important thing is we are able to taste paper wrap chicken, direct translation from chinese 'ci bao kai'. Its is vr delicious and cost only RM3.80 each.
To Jenny and soon teck: we can taste the chicken here in kepong, so dont need to travel far to serdang to taste it. hahaThe yong tow foo, chilli, fishball, sui kao.

Went to UKM and given a guided tour by ah muk (wen han) and tomato (soon teck).

what are they doing? cmc actually found a RM1 note on the ground, he wannted to pick it up but the note is too dirty, is on the ground covered with some unknown source of water, or is it oil... anyway CMC, its just rm1. dont be so sad la.

Next, went to kajang to eat satay!!! Recommended by soon teck and wen han, who always hang out there with their 'funny' friends.

As what we have planned, i am supposed to leave my house at nine to fetch soon teck, cmc and jenny. However i woke up late and end up fetching them at ten. Hope they dont get angry with me ya. haha.
Then i was told by cmc that jenny couldnt join us for this outing since she was not feeling well. Pretty sad that she couldnt join us. Anyway, get well soon Ms Jenny.

Upon reaching midvalley, three of us were quite hungry. So we went to Kim Gary Restaurant.
These were the items that we ordered.

Set lunch Chicken chop baked rice with cheese together with cream soup and a dessert ordered by soon teck, RM16.90.

Lunch set chinese mushroom and deep fried chicken rice at RM11.90. The taste was a little bit ordinary.

Two glasses of tea, a cup of cream soup and a pudding as a dessert.Though the pudding looks nice, it was tasteless.

The biggest bowl here is the Korean Noodles with fried egg and lucheon meat. the noodles looked like those maggi mee, but the taste of course better than maggi. Not too bad, just that it wasn't as spicy as i expected.

Grapefruit Snow Mountain at RM6.50. Though a bit bitter, taste not bad after all.

Yin yong on the left and ice blue fruit punch on the right. The ice blue fruit punch which i ordered taste just nice when the ice were all melted.

After lunch, cmc suggested we go for shopping instead of a movie. He needed to get some new year clothes. Soon teck and i suggested no more, so the 3 of us just kept walking and walking and walking for few hours there and end up not even a single clothe bought. This is cmc, who keeps on complaining just about anything and do all the talking. He was the who wanna buy clothes and then didnt seem interested to buy also. Wasted our time just like that. Look how bossy is he....
(haha... surely he'll kill me seeing this.... criticizing him. hahahaha. plz, try not to tell him bout this ya. And cmc, dont explode reading this oo. its a way of promoting u. hahaha LOL. :P )

After that, its time for us to get back home to avoid KL traffic hazard. We left Midvalley at 4.45pm and the traffic were pretty smooth. Then i suggested to stop at station 1 cafe for hi-tea at Ipoh Road. Cmc was too hungry and eventually ordered a few plates of snacks.

A plate of keropok udang and a piece of chocholate and oatmeal cake each. hmmm... taste so delicious especially the cakes!! i want more plz....
